Did you visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon?
If you have visited recently, these are probably the views you had the pleasure to take in! So far this fall we have had a wonderful amount of rain and beautiful storms that have brought incredible foggy sights, colorful sunrises and sunsets, as well as double rainbows. No matter what the weather is like, this grand show is hard to beat!
The North Rim of the Grand Canyon only sees 10% of the annual visitors to the national park; meaning less crowds and quiet viewpoints.
If you haven’t visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon yet, now is a great time to visit! The leaves on the Quaking Aspen trees are still changing color and the crisp, clear mountain air adds even more beauty to this Grand Canyon. Access to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon begins May 15th and continues through December 1st unless heavy snow fall occurs on Highway 67 prior to Dec 1st. Overnight access stops October 15th and is day-use only until December 1st.
After December 1st, the Marble Canyon Loop from Kanab offers numerous scenic stops including a driving and walking bridge across the beginning of the Grand Canyon. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by Jacob Lake Lodge for their World-Famous cookies or check out our website visitsouthernutah.com to see what events we have going on in the area! #visitkanab #visitsouthernutah #abrakanabra #magicallyunspoiled#basecampkanab
